February 13, 2003 Present: Cris Irsfeld, Deb McMenamy, George Shippey, Cara Davis, Fred Burger, Tim Geller, Jen Wright, Public Access, and Bill Patenude, Alpine Construction. Cara, Fred and Tim came before the Selectmen to inform them that a portion of Pinewoods is actually on Town property. Cris had mentioned this to Counsel. There are three possibilities- 1) Convey the land at Town Meeting. 2) an easement, or 3) peppercorn lease. The project could lose three units because of the land situation. It was also noted that the Town needed to find compensatory storage for our sewer project and possibly we could use a piece of their land. A survey must be done of the area, both properties. Jorja will look to see if possibly there is a survey for the treatment area. A motion was made to make Deb McMenamy the liaison for the project. A second was received. The vote was unanimous. Jen Wright, Public Access Board and Bill Patenaude, Alpine Construcion came to discuss the boat ramp which is in need of repair. Mr. Patenaude won the bid to fix the access as he was working on the dam at Stockbridge Bowl. Funding is only good until June 30. Ms. Wright thought that the lake would be drawn down 5 ½ ft. The Selectmen explained that at most it would be dropped 2 ½ ft. at this time. Options were discussed. Jen will send drawings to Bill with an alternative plan. Bill will give her an estimate. As long as the work can be done in the Spring, he is still interested in the project. A request from Night Stalkers 2 was reviewed. This fishing club would like to hold a fishing derby on August 16 and 17, arriving at 10:30 p.m. beginning at midnight and leaving at 8:00 a.m. Discussion followed with George admittedly against it. George made a motion to deny on the grounds of residences around the lake. A second was received. The vote was Deb, Yes to allow them and George and Cris to deny the request. A letter will be written to access board. A true copy, ATTEST:
