Peter will look at the possibility and will come back to us within approximately two months with a cost proposal. The Selectmen, Martha Muir and Paul Coates met to interview two possible School Committee candidates. Caroline Irsfeld had resigned for personal reasons and the Selectmen had asked for volunteers. Kathleen Schneyer Holden and Alan Wilken had shown interest. They were requested to come to this meeting to introduce themselves. Kathleen Holden was not present. Mr. Wilken stated that he wanted to be involved as he has two children within the district and wanted to give something back to the Town and felt that he could make at least 90% of the meetings. Martha Muir asked if he would be willing to run for election as nomination papers are due in July. She also told him of the 6 to 8 hours of training which was needed for the job. Martha made a motion to nominate Alan Wilken as the 3rd member of the School Committee from Stockbridge. A second was made by Deb. The vote was unanimous. With no other agenda, the meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m. A true copy, ATTEST:
