Mon, Apr 22, 2002 3:13 PM From: Brett Tartaglino To: StockbridgeMA_SelMin Subject: 2002-01-02 February 1, 2002 Present: Cris Irsfeld, Deb McMenamy, Martin Terrien, Bret Tartaglino, John Spencer, Peter Kolodziej, Ann Beacco and Jorja Marsden. Bret Tartaglino talked with the Selectmen regarding the needs for computers and telecommunication for Town Offices. John Spencer came with a request for monies to help with the collection, climate control, etc. for the Historical Room. He is asking the Town to donate a maximum of $150,000.00. Martin has concerns about doing this when it still would not be handicap accessible - possibly another location would be better. Jack explained that it gets complicated as there are a lot of items to think about other than climate control and preservation, such as Barbara's salary (curator of the Historical Room), utilities, etc. - all expenses that would have to be added at a different location. Cris thought a possible match of Library dollars would work. It is a very difficult year as far as budgets go. Pete Kolodziej and Ann Beacco came regarding the Tri-Town Health budget. Martin had a few questions, which were reviewed. Meeting adjourned. A true copy, ATTEST
