Absent: Barbara Cohen Hobbs, Eric Plakun, and Paul Coates Member Robert Bartle made a motion to approve the minutes of June 27, 2006 as written. Member Talbot seconded this motion and it was unanimously approved, 4-0. Foresight Land Services represented Catherine Faber in a request for approval of Form A for the division of two parcels of land located on the easterly side of Interlaken Road. The property is located in the R-1 zoning district. Lot 11 contains 1.92 acres of land with 222 feet of frontage and is to be conveyed as a building lot. Lot 12 contains 4.67 acres of land with 176 feet of frontage and is to be conveyed as a building lot. Member Pitney made a motion to approve the Form A as presented and that the plan does not require Subdivision Approval. Member Bartle seconded this motion and it was unanimously approved, 4-0. The Red Lion Inn is requesting approval of four sign permits for four menu boards to be located on the property at 30 Main Street. The reason for the request is they would like to further differentiate the four restaurants that are operated on the property. Member Rose stated that under Section 6.8.3 they are allowed only three signs that don’t project out from the building. Member Talbot made a motion to disapprove the application for the sign permits in that the board doesn’t see where the sign applications are in compliance with Section 6.8. Member Bartle seconded this motion and it was unanimously approved, 4-0. Member Pitney made a motion that the Board goes into Executive Session. Member Bartle seconded this motion.
