The allowable limit for bacteria colony forming units (cfu) per 100ml water sample is 235. If the test samples exceed that number, Tri-Town Health and the Town of Stockbridge will close the beach until new tests indicate that the bacteria population has dropped below the limit. If you have any questions regarding the testing or the results, please call Tri-Town Health at 243-5540.
