A letter was received from attorney Jack E. Houghton stating that the Faddings would like to hold settlement discussions with Joan Embree. As such, the parties requested that the ZBA meeting be further continued allowing for completion of the discussions. To this end, the Faddings waive any complaint and/or defense to Sec 7.6 of the Stockbridge by-laws relating to decisions of the Board of Appeals being made within 100 days after the date of the filing of the appeal. If discussion is productive, the Faddings would withdraw their appeal and Joan Embree would withdraw her complaint. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to continue the hearing to a future date on or before December 15, 2005. They also voted unanimously that if all parties agreed to settlements, including agreement by Building Inspector Ned Baldwin that there was compliance with the zoning by-laws, the complaint, appeal and violation would be withdrawn.
