SEWER AND WATER COMMISSON MINUTES OF MEETING TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2005 PRESENT: Donald Schneyer, Thomas Schuler, Denise Schneyer, Secretary Joseph Kellogg, Sewer Project Consultant, Anthony Campetti, Sewer Supt. Call Meeting to order/Adopt Minutes – The Chairman called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Member Schuler made a motion to adopt the Minutes as correcting leaving out the first sentence from the Sewer Project Update paragraph. A Campetti reported that there is an addendum to Dawn Farley’s sewer application which states she will have stubs for others nearby to tie in and Dean Olsher will have to file is application again. Sewer Project Update – The Chairman reported that nothing is being done in the Glendale area except that Ludlow put a binder coat on Christian Hill Rd. They are working in the Goodrich St. area putting a top coat from the Dietrich property to Raymond & Myra Whalen’s house. They set two manholes on Goodrich St. and one on Park St. They will soon do a little blacktopping in Glendale. There is a loose manhole near the Gangell property on Goodrich St. The sheeting will stay in place at no cost to the Town. All of Goodrich St. will be paved. Logging @ Echo Lake – No logging has been done as of yet. Bucks Lane Survey – Member Schuler stated that Ann Fitzpatrick is okay with the survey. He spoke with Dan Oleksak, the surveyor hired to do the survey, and he will have to send a copy of the map to each of the people giving easements. T. Schuler recommended the Commission pay Mr. Oleksak the $3,500 owed him but that he should issue another bill. Grinder Pump Letter – J. Kellogg stated that the grinder pump letter went out. Extension of Contract – Ludlow Construction has not yet asked for an extension for their contract. Fixed Rates – The Commission decided not to do anything with the sewer rates this year and will discuss water rates at the next meeting. The Chairman reported that Linda Day of Quiet Knoll Rd. called him and stated that others on the street would like to tie into the sewer line. L. Day stated that they would like to turn the sewer line over to the Town and A. Campetti stated that the line is already owned by the Town. The Chairman will let L. Day know that. T. Schuler made a motion to accept the revised Sewer Hook-Up Application done by J. Kellogg, seconded by the Chairman.
