Absent: John Hart and Cathy Plakun Minutes Approval – Member Shatz made a motion to approve the November 9, 2004 Minutes. The motion was seconded by member Shippey and all voted in favor. Shelley and Robin Birnhak, 11 Mahkeenac Road - Applicant is requesting an Amended Order of Conditions for: regrading the driveway, installation of a foundation under corner of house which doesn’t have a foundation - with a walk-out under the house for boats and removal of two ash trees. Member Shatz made a motion to grant an Amended Order of Conditions for the Birnak property, seconded by member Deno. The vote was unanimous. Bruce and Joan Cohen, 84 Interlaken Road - Shannon Boomsma of White Engineering presented for the applicant. Conservation concerns are that if construction materials are falling in the lake, such as the present asbestos roof shingles, how will they be removed and disposed. A site visit was set for Monday, November 29, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. The continued hearing was set for the December 14, 2004 conservation meeting. Marlene and Henry Nunberg, 15 Interlaken Crossroad – Applicant Marlene Nunberg and Mike Kulig from Berkshire Engineering appeared regarding the proposed project. A sewer hookup permit is pending from the Sewer Commission. The connection will be to the town sewer on Partridge Lane. Also, trees will be removed and the applicant needs to flag those trees. Conservation Board also wants the proposed line staked. A site visit will be scheduled when the trees are flagged and the stakes are set. Vivian Elmslie, 38 Lake Drive - Applicant Ms. Elmslie, represented by Ann Bruzzi from Berkshire Engineering wishes to replace the existing septic system with a holding tank and an alarm. A site visit was set for November 26, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. Al and Laura Richman, 3 Oak Street – Bob Gournier and Sarah Schultz from SK Design represented the applicants who wish to drill a well. Presently, water is obtained from Camp Mahkeenac. This property pumps sewage to the camp. A site visit was set for November 26, 2004 at 9:45 a.m. Haldor Reinholt, Mahkeenac Shores Road – Applicant Haldor Reinholt, Attorney Lori Robbins and Darren Harris from Hill Engineering appeared before the Board on a continuance. The Board agreed the applicant would offer a cash bond for 150% of the estimate of replication. The description of the work will be verified by an independent engineer. The bond will expire in 3 years. New trees to be planted will be 2-3” in diameter (e.g. red maple), to restore the canopy. Haldor Reinholt’s continuation was set for December 14, 2004. Board members signed Diskant/Baron, 10 Grove Road, Amended Order of Conditions, and Mahkeenac Heights/Shores Associations Order of Conditions.
