The property is approximately 38 acres. There are wetland issues, with replication probable. The filing is only for the driveway; the lot owners will have to file in the future before house construction. Abutter Terry Wise raised questions regarding the drainage. Donna Astion stated that Goodrich St. has been heavily impacted by the sewer extension. The entire area will be affected by this project. Terry Eucker, the Berkshire conservation agent, will be called in to evaluate this project for the Commission. In attendance for this hearing were: Jay & Terry Wise 6 Cherry Hill Rd. Paula Gimblette 18 Goodrich St. Debbie Wollwerth 19 Goodrich Donna Astion 17 Goodrich St. Douglas Hall 19 Cherry St. Nancy Nirenberg 4 Cherry Hill Rd. Peter Wallach, 1 Housatonnuck Rd., RDA Continuance – Sarah Stiner of Creative Building Solutions, Inc. represented Mr. Wallach. The test borings were submitted and found to be satisfactory. Alan Hirschberg, Osprey Lane, NOI Continuance – Shannon Boomsma of White Engineering, Inc. presented for the applicant. Member Deno, an abutter, recused himself from deliberations. The report from Terry Euker was discussed. The unnamed stream was judged to be intermittent. The septic system for Lot 2 is proposed to be in the buffer zone, which commission members object to. Ms. Boomsma agreed to reevaluate whether another location for the septic system for Lot 2 could be found (outside of the buffer zone). Also, member Plakun asked if the well could be located outside the buffer zone. Town Counsel will be consulted that if a permit for the subdivision road is accepted, will the subdivision therefore be accepted. Bruce & Joan Cohen, 84 Interlaken Rd. – The Commission approved a field stone patio in sand rather than a wood surface on the east side of the house. Anna Grey Noe McLendon, 22 Yale Hill Rd. – The Order of Conditions approved on August 28, 2002 was extended for three years. Bruce Safran, Stone Hill Rd. – Robert Hoogs of Foresight Land Services, Inc. updated the Commission regarding the house construction and selected house colors for the Safran property. A motion by member Deno and seconded by member DeGiorgis to adjourn at 9:15 was unanimous. Respectfully submitted, George Shippey, Temporary Secretary
