Details Link Name: Minutes Description: Subject/Title: May 10, 2005 Subtitle: Keywords: Review on: [ ] Default to Printable Version CONSERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING TUESDAY, MAY 10, 2005 PRESENT: Sally Underwood-Miller, Stephen Shatz, Don Deno, George Shippey Joseph DeGirogis, Cathy Plakun ABSENT: John Hart Call Meeting to Order/Adopt Minutes – The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Member Shippey made a motion to adopt the Minutes as presented, seconded by member Deno and all voted in favor. The Chairman made a couple of revisions to the Order of Conditions for the Stockbridge Bowl Plant Harvesting and the Commission signed the revised Orders. Dean Olsher, 8 Interlaken Crossroad, RDA Continuance – Michael Kulig of Berkshire Engineering appeared on behalf of the applicant. The initial plan to tie into the sewer connection at Brookside Lane has been eliminated and Mr. Olsher now proposes to tie in at the upper end of the street on Interlaken Crossroad at a connection of Roy Komak. Mr. Komack’s line will pass under a BVW which required an NOI filing. Mr. Olsher will be required to also file an NOI. Peter Wallach, 1 Housatonnuck Rd., RDA – Sara Stiner of Creative Building Solutions appeared on behalf of the applicant who proposes to construct a single-family residence on Housatonnuck Rd. The Chairman stated that it appeared that there was an intermittent stream within 50 ft. of the proposed construction, the property had been clear cut, and no stakes were put in place to identify location of the house. Ms. Stiner stated that there are no wetlands where the house will be but the Chairman and member Plakun noticed skunk cabbage growing there which is a strong indication that it is a wetland. The Chairman indicated that she would like to have borings done and the wetlands delineated. The hearing was continued to the next meeting. The Commission signed an Order of Conditions for White Pines Condominium Homeowners. With no further business, the Commission adjourned at 8:00 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Denise A.
