CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES OF MEETING
TUESDAY, JANUARY 23, 2007

PRESENT:	Stephen Shatz, George Shippey, Joseph DeGiorgis, Cathy Plakun
		John Hart

ABSENT:	Sally Underwood-Miller, Don Deno

Call Meeting to Order/Adopt Minutes - Vice-Chairman Shatz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Member DeGiorgis made a motion to adopt the Minutes of December 12, 2006, seconded by member Plakun and all voted in favor.  Member Plakun made a motion to adopt the Minutes of January 9, 2007, seconded by member DeGiorgis and all voted in favor.

Harvey Waller, Prospect Hill Rd. - NOI Continuance - Shannon Boomsma of White Engineering presented.  A motion by member Shippey and seconded by member Plakun to close the hearing was voted on unanimously.

Linfield and Susan Simon, 56 Mahkeenac Rd. - NOI Continuance - Shannon Boomsma of White Engineering presented this project for a sewer connection.  A motion by member Hart and seconded by member DeGiorgis to close the hearing with the condition that the line be pressured prior to the hook-up to the Town line was voted on unanimously.

Roy Komack, 3 Interlaken Crossroad - The owner has clear cut in the buffer zone and possibly in the wetlands without Conservation Commission approval.  A letter will be sent to the owner in this regard.

Mark Faber and Sharon O'Meara, 14 Interlaken Crossroad - RDA Continuance - The RDA is for construction of a single-family house.  A site visit was scheduled for January 27, 2007 at 8:00 a.m.

Stockbridge Equestrian Resort Group, 37 Interlaken Rd. - ANRAD Continuance - Robert Hoogs of Foresight Land Services, Conservation Commission consultant Terry Eucker, Emily Stockman of Stockman Associates, Christian Boysen representing SERG and abutters Dr. and Mrs. Hyman were in attendance.  A motion by member Shippey and seconded by member Plakun to close the hearing was voted on unanimously.

Dori Laub, Glendale Rd. - NOI Continuance - The hearing was continued to February 13, 2007.

Town of Stockbridge, Ice Glen Rd. - Extension Permit to Order of Conditions - A motion by member Shippey and seconded by member Plakun to extend the Order of Conditions until March 24, 2010 was voted on unanimously with member DeGiorgis abstaining.

Town of Stockbridge, Ice Glen Rd. - Amended Order of Conditions - It was the sense of the Commission that the culvert be handled by an amendment rather than an Order of Conditions.

A motion by member Shippey and seconded by member Plakun to adjourn at 8:46 p.m. was voted on unanimously.
