CONSERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2007 PRESENT: Sally Underwood-Miller, Stephen Shatz, George Shippey, Cathy Plakun Joseph DeGiorgis ABSENT: John Hart, Don Deno Call Meeting to Order/Adopt Minutes - The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Member Shatz made a motion to adopt the Minutes as presented, seconded by member Shippey and all voted in favor. Dori Laub, Glendale Rd. - NOI Continuance - Michael Kulig of Berkshire Engineering and Terry Eucker of the BCAP appeared to discuss the continuance of the NOI. M. Kulig submitted a plan for an open-bottom culvert at the last meeting. T. Eucker went through her comments on the project. Lot 13 was modified and M. Kulig will submit the additional filing fees this week. The house is almost 200 ft. away. The line continues on the contour. The width of the driveway is 12 ft. and zoning allows for 8 ft. It reduces the amount of impact you have. There will be less impervious soils. The water was coming in at 7 inches into the wetland. The septic system is shown on the plan submitted plan but was not on the previous plan. Member Shatz made a motion to close the hearing, seconded by member Shippey and all voted in favor. M. Kulig will contact Peter Durgin of BTF that there have been complaints of water in the abutters' basements. This has been an ongoing issue that needs to be rectified. Mark Faber & Sharon O'Meara, 14 Interlaken Rd. - RDA Continuance - Member Shatz made a motion to close the hearing, seconded by member Shippey and all voted in favor. Gary Johnston appeared representing Roy Komack of Interlaken Crossroad to discuss clear cutting and burning that Gary's crew did on the site near the wetlands. Gary thought that the work they did was included in the NOI for the sewer line and connection for the property. Mr. Komack told him that he thought it was. Gary will submit a written narrative as to what he is doing and what was done. Mark Stinson of DEP appeared to listen in on and observe the meeting.
