Beachwood Lenstock Association, Oak Lane, NOI - culvert replacement – Mark Volk from Foresight Engineering presented the replacement of a 30” culvert with a 24” CMP culvert. It has been determined that the stream is intermittent. The replacement would be an aluminum spiral pipe which will be able to handle greater volume than the present culvert. The Commission would like to see a maintenance plan for clean-out, with or without a sump. A recommendation was voiced by member Shatz that a letter be sent to the Association outlining what the Commission expects regarding Beachwood roads and culverts, as pertains to the Commission’s jurisdiction. It was suggested that all Beachwood culvert replacements anticipate the town culvert requirements in the event that the Beachwood roads are submitted for Town acceptance in the future. Signatures – Members present signed Amended Order of Conditions: Cohen, 84 Interlaken Road; Determination of Applicability: Nunberg, 15 Interlaken Crossroads; and Determination of Applicability: Elmslie, 38 Lake Drive.
