NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

PLAIN SCHOOL REUSE STUDY


MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2005
6:00 P.M. 

PLAIN SCHOOL GYMNASIUM


A public information session will be held on Monday, September 12, 2005, 
6:00 p.m. in the Plain School Gymnasium regarding the Reuse Study being conducted by the Plain School Task Force.  Results of architectural and marketing studies will be presented at the session as well as discussion about the various options which have been studied by the Task Force as they consider the possibilities for a future reuse of the building.  It is expected that the Berkshire Hills Regional School District will be returning the school to the Town’s control sometime in September.    


Public input and comment is being sought by the Task Force as they prepare to finalize their recommendation to be made to voters at an upcoming Special Town Meeting to be held on October 3, 2005, 6:30 p.m. at the Plain School. 


Task Force Committee members will be conducting tours of the building, beginning at 5:00 p.m. prior to the public information session.
